REMOTE ACCESS INFORMATION NETWORK-
• Offline Maps with active GPS Plotting anywhere in the world.

• A Knowledge Repository accessible on the box with information including but
not limited to medical references, shelter building, water purification, foraging
guides, how-to guides, repair manuals, and much more. 

• Software Defined Radio (SDR) with a 2 Meter Antenna to scan the radio
spectrum.

• 2x LoRa Meshtastic Devices that can interface with the R.A.I.N. for off-grid
communication if all other forms of communication fail. These devices are AES
256 encrypted, a range of 1-3 miles in the city, and 3-5 in rural. The devices have
a minimal RF footprint in the spectrum as well so there is no real concern for someone seeing a small energy burst and having an opportunity to direction find
you unlike with PTT radios.

• A Wi-Fi/hotspot capability running from a micro SD card with the
aforementioned Knowledge and more (430GBs more) that could be accessed by
up to 10 people streaming from the R.A.I.N. This is ideal for campsites, cabins,
or any location without internet/cellular access. I wanted this capability to be accessible with the Pelican Case shut for suitability in rain-or-shine
environments.

• The ability to capture and decrypt the downlink of passing NOAA Weather
Satellites to view images of the inbound weather and photos of the Earth
provided in the downlink from the satellites. A specialized QFH antenna is
required for that due to the polarization of the downlinks and how to build that
antenna is included with the R.A.I.N..

• 8-12 hours of battery life minimum.
